Communities Creating Change.

The 2026 Vinnies NSW Community Sleepout has wrapped up, and what a result!

Together, communities across Albury, Armidale, Dubbo, Greater Sydney and Orange raised more than $205,000 to support people experiencing homelessness in their local communities. Every region surpassed its fundraising target, made possible by the incredible support of local participants, businesses, sponsors, volunteers and community members.

Since the event began nine years ago, the Vinnies NSW Community Sleepout has raised more than $1.2 million, helping fund vital homelessness and community support services across NSW.

A huge thank you to every participant who slept out, fundraised, and encouraged others to get involved, as well as our local and statewide sponsors who helped make this year’s events possible. Your support makes a real difference and helps keep funds in the communities where they are raised.

The 2026 Sleepout showed once again what can happen when local communities come together to support locals doing it tough.
